Maternal and Infant Clinical Initiatives is an organized clinical effort to identify, enhance, and accelerate the statewide adaptation of innovative clinical models that increase access, influence equitable care delivery, and improve clinical outcomes for pregnant women, infants, and newly parenting families.

These activities are informed by data generated through Ohio's maternal mortality review, also known as the Pregnancy-Associated Mortality Review (PAMR), as well as other data sources such as Vital Statistics, the Ohio Pregnancy-Assessment Survey (OPAS), Child Fatality Review, and Fetal Infant Mortality Review.
