Welcome to Help Me Grow Home Visiting

Home Visiting is a voluntary, home-based family support program for pregnant women or families with young children, offered at no cost to the family. Available in every county in the state, Help Me Grow Home Visiting is an evidence-based program that promotes healthy growth and development for babies and young children.

Home visitors are well-trained professionals who use a non-judgmental and compassionate approach as they provide families with skills, tools, resources, and confidence to support the healthy growth of their child throughout the child’s earliest years. Help Me Grow Home Visiting encourages early prenatal and well-baby care, as well as parenting education to promote the comprehensive health and development of children.

Make a Referral

Making a referral to Help Me Grow Home Visiting is the first and easy step for pregnant women or families with a new child who have questions about their pregnancy or child. One referral opens the door to many resources to support families. The family will be contacted to be introduced to the program and to determine their interest in participating.

Help Me Grow Central Intake and Referral offers an Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) developmental screening program. Parents and caregivers of children birth through five years old can use the Sparkler: Play for Parenting app to complete the free ASQ developmental screening about their child. The Sparkler app is a one-stop-shop for tracking a child's developmental screening results, play activities, parenting tips, and connections to additional services as needed such as Home Visiting, Early Intervention, and/or special needs preschool. If a family is unable to download or access an ASQ on the Sparkler app, a Help Me Grow Developmental Screening Specialist is available to assist you. Please visit helpmegrow.org/ASQ or email asq@helpmegrow.org for more information.
